MEDICAID MEDICARE

Ancient Eastern principles, intense diagnostic systems and Western approaches are used to formulate a comprehensive view of your body, mind and spirit. A treatment plan will be developed to suit your goals and needs and hold shape to your healing journey. A holistic approach towards health, balance and connection, evolves you steadily from one state to another. Overlooked areas can resonate old, stagnant energy diminishing healthy momentum. In efforts to fully transcend, it is important to work to heal not only the physical body, but also, the spiritual and emotional body as well.

Medicaid Medicare and Acupuncture

Currently acupuncture is not considered reasonable and necessary within the meaning of §1862(a)(1) of the Social Security Act.  This means there is no available coverage or benefits through medicaid or medicare for acupuncture.

Our industry is working hard to illustrate that this medicine indeed prevents illness, shortens durations of illnesses, is scientifically proven and a great cost-benefit to healthcare expenditures in this country and others.

Dr. Rosen understands the issues involved with Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement.  She works closely with Healthcare Administrators to develop strategies to offer integrative services.  There are ways to provide these beneficial services at your facility.  When post-surgical patients undergo Acupuncture treatments, studies show they heal faster and better.  The average time a Doctor of Oriental Medicine spends with a patient, outnumbers the time most any other Primary Care spends.  When you incorporate Doctors of Oriental Medicine, you save your physicians time and your center money.
